Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Theme Parks Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, theme park enthusiasts were actively engaging with their favorite park apps on Android, as data from Sensor Tower indicates fluctuating trends in downloads and weekly active users.

Six Flags saw downloads starting at 3.5K in the first week of April, peaking at 3K by the end of the month, and then gradually declining to 1.9K towards the end of June. Weekly active users began at 23K, dipped to 17.5K mid-April, and experienced a slight recovery, stabilizing around 17K by the end of June.

Disneyland® downloads were at 1.6K in early April, with a small peak to 1.8K at the end of April and another at 1.8K in late June. The app's weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 7.6K, dipping to 6.5K, and then slightly rising again to 7.5K by the quarter's close.

The My Disney Experience app downloads were modest, beginning at 1K and reaching a high of 1.6K in the last week of June. The weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 1.4K, with a gradual increase to 1.8K by the end of the quarter.

For Universal Studios Hollywood, downloads started at 958, dipped to 513 in early May, and climbed to 750 by the end of June. The app's active users started at 1.7K, saw a low of 971 in early June, and increased to 1.2K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, SeaWorld experienced the lowest numbers among the top apps, with downloads beginning at 623, dropping to 231 in early May, and spiking to 572 in the last week of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 818, dropping to 331 in mid-April, and then making a notable jump to 721 in the final week of June.
